PDFs can be printed on plain paper and colored with pencil, paints, etc.

BMPs can be colored on the computer using software.

Most computers have free software for computer painting (Paint Box)

Helpful hints...

Practice with copy machine, or PDF, printout before coloring in your book.

Try a damp paint brush with a small amount of water to go over your color pencil painting. It can enhance the brilliance of the color.

Try dipping your color pencil into water before using for a similar effect.

Don't use too much water with color pencils or paint because the water can make your paper wrinkle.
